Located just 500 metres from Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, the Adonis Hotel is set in a 200-year old building with panoramic views of the city and the sea. The 24 air- conditioned guestrooms are decorated in rich cream fabrics, and with antique style furniture, and offer satellite television, direct-dial telephones and minibars.
Guests can enjoy drinks and snacks in the Byzantine style garden bar, or keep out of the sun in the air-conditioned lounge area and keep in touch with the complimentary Internet access. Traditional Turkish cuisine is served at the restaurant, and guests can take advantage of the room service which is on offer. The light rail metro system connects the airport to Esenler. Havas airport buses run to central Istanbul (Taksim Square) and to the bus terminal on demand (journey time: 30 minutes). Services also operate to Akmerkez (Etiler). Guests should travel to the Beyazit train station which is a 500 metre walk. Taxis or dolmus (shared taxis) are available from the airport, and a taxi should cost around 25 YTL, or 15 EUR.
