Located in Sultanahmet in the old town centre, the modern Albion Hotel Istanbul is set 300 metres from the famous Blue Mosque and 500 metres from Topkapi Palace. The hotel features 29 guestrooms with wooden furniture and floors and Turkish rugs. Amenities standard to all rooms include air conditioning, satellite television, direct-dial phones and private bathrooms with hair dryers. All are covered by a wireless Internet service.
The restaurant serves traditional Turkish cuisine and vegetarian specialties and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests can relax in the lounge bar or in the privacy of their room, thanks to around-the-clock room service. Taxis are available from outside the terminal building. Airport buses run to central Istanbul from the arrivals terminal every 30 minutes. From the airport, take the Seaside Road. Turn left at signs for Sultanahmet, drive through Kucuk Ayasofya Street, followed by Yerebatan Street and turn right onto Alaykosku Street.
