Opened in 1993, the Black Bird is a modern hotel set in Istanbul's Laneli district, which is the old part of the city, located five kilometres from the city centre. This five-floor hotel features 81 air-conditioned guestrooms, all of which have traditionally-styled decor and furnishings and include satellite TV, direct-dial phones and high-speed Internet ports; ensuite bathrooms are complete with telephones, complimentary toiletries, showers, tubs, and hair dryers.
Guests can unwind in the sauna and hot tub, or work out in the fitness centre, enjoy a drink in the bar, or dance the night away in the nightclub. Snacks can be ordered from room service; guests arriving by car can park for free.
